Precious truly is the word for how our heavenly bridegroom sees you today and always.
The price that Jacob paid for Rachel was seven years plus seven. They seemed to him as but a day, so great was his love for her.
What a great price he was willing to pay for the one he loved so dearly. What immense value he placed upon her.
How she must have known the greatness of his love for her, how much she was adored.
And how much greater is the love of Jesus for us, the church His bride. That He was willing to lay down His life for us, enduring the agony of the cross and the pains of death, yielding Himself to the grave for us.
Do you see yourself in the light of that love? In the sheer wonder of that adoration. You are His beloved, you are the apple of His eye, you are His flawless one, you are the one who is valued at such a high price.
So rejoice in His love today and forever. Rejoice in the wonderful truth that you are His darling, His beautiful one, His pearl of great price.
You are beloved. Today, tomorrow and for all eternity.
