Today, lift up your eyes to the hills with the psalmist. Where does your help come from? Hallelujah!! From the Lord, the maker of Heaven and earth.
Our help does not come from systems, from the plans of men, from the decisions made at a human level.
Our help comes from the One who has overcome the world. Our help comes from the One who was dead but behold! He lives forever. Our help comes from the One who knows the end from the beginning, who watches over His word to perform it, who is faithful to all His promises and loving towards all He has made.
His promises are sure. His word is forever settled in Heaven.
His promise for you is that no evil shall befall those who dwell in the shadow of the Most High.
His promise is that when He sees the blood He causes the destroyer to pass over.
His promise is to lead you through the valley of the shadow of death without fear.
His promise is that you He will satisfy you long life and show you His salvation.
This is the One who has promised you His help.
So abide in Him, rest in Him, rejoice in Him and trust in Him. Because His help is guaranteed. There is no end to the help He brings. He will never fail you.
