Zechariah chapter three begins with the prophet's vision of the high priest standing before God.
This high priest, Joshua stands before God, but with Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.
Imagine it. The high priest, the holiest man on earth, stands before the Lord but the voice in his ears is not the voice of God but that of the accuser.
And why? Because he is dressed in filthy garments. The most holy man on earth stands unclean before God Almighty.
But God commands that those filthy robes are removed and replaced with rich robes. Indeed, the Lord declares that He Himself will clothe Joshua in these new, God-given garments.
What a transformation. What grace, what mercy and compassion.
Hallelujah!
The one thing you never hear of again in this vision is the voice of the enemy. He has nothing left to accuse with, because the new robes are rich, glorious, clean, pure, beautiful, whiter than the snow, and dazzling in the righteousness that only God can provide.
See yourself today in robes of righteousness. See yourself today in the fine linen that God has clothed you with.
Where is the accuser's voice now?
Silent.
Silenced by God Himself.
Because in Jesus you are clothed in robes of righteousness. By God Himself.
Hallelujah!
All praise, all glory, all honour, all might, all strength, all power be to Jesus forever and ever.
Amen.
Bless you all.
